How every part works together

Four systems shape how the shoe turns, flexes, supports and feels underfoot.

Sole

SPYNFLEX®

SPYNFLEX® is a single, uniform proprietary polyurethane sole tuned for predictable movement, controlled grip and smooth turns, indoors and out.

Reinforced pivot points

Real turns move across the shoe, not only one small spot. The molded pivot points reinforce key spin areas, helping you balance through rotations while the surrounding sole stays predictable underfoot.

Predictable feel

The surface is one consistent polyurethane compound, tuned with multi-layered texturing for movement, flow, grip and control. Wherever a pivot starts, the sole gives a familiar feel.

Articulation and floor feel

A low-profile sole bends with the foot, so you can articulate through push-off, landings and changes of direction. It stays light, gives clear floor feel and works indoors and outdoors.

Upper

AIRDANCE+®

Material, panel shape and stitching work together to hold your foot securely while preserving flexibility and breathability.

The material

Flow 2 and Nova use premium microfiber in tumbled and smooth finishes. It is lightweight, breathable, flexible and made to hold its shape.

Panels and seams

Panels follow the shape of the foot for a secure fit through changes of direction. Strobel stitching joins the upper to a flexible base, allowing the shoe to bend naturally.

Cotton canvas on Volt

Volt uses premium cotton canvas for the lightest, most breathable upper in the range, with microfiber reinforcement at the toe and heel.

Removable insole · Plush

GROOVECLOUD®

Memory foam sits over a firmer, shock-absorbing base for plush cushioning without losing floor feel. Swap in a thinner insole for more room, or remove it for orthotics.

The knit face

A soft knit layer sits over memory foam that gradually molds to the shape of your foot.

Two densities

Memory foam cushions the foot, while the firmer layer beneath absorbs impact and provides a stable surface to push against.

Built to keep its shape

The firmer base helps the insole maintain its support and resist bottoming out as you dance.

Removable insole · Responsive

ORTHOFLOW®

A lightweight, open-cell foam insole used in Nova and Volt for responsive cushioning and stronger floor feel. It lifts out for your own orthotics.

Open-cell foam

Open-cell foam lets air move through the insole while adding light cushioning underfoot.

Low profile

Less material between your foot and the floor gives Nova and Volt a more direct, responsive feel.

Arch and heel

A contoured shape follows the length of the foot without excess bulk, while the shallow heel cup helps keep the heel seated through movement.
